ChEddi is a chat inside the TYPO3 backend. It uses the same tools the AI Suite MCP server offers to Claude, ChatGPT and other clients, within your backend permissions.

Open the chat
Click the floating chat button, available on every backend page. You can drag the panel wider or dock it to the right edge so the backend stays visible next to it.

Ask a read-only question
Name pages by their title, ChEddi does not see your screen. Try: Which pages below "Metadata" have no meta description? Reading, searching and listing run without asking.

Let it write
Ask for one change per message, for example Shorten the hero text on the page "ChEddi" to one sentence. ChEddi shows the old and the new value. Click Execute to apply or Decline to discard.

Check the draft
By default ChEddi writes into your draft workspace, invisible to visitors until published. Use the record links below the answer to open what was changed.

Combine with other features
ChEddi works on the whole page tree: ask it to audit AI Suite MCP for accessibility or to translate a page. Bulk jobs over whole trees are better started in the WorkflowManager.
