AI Suite ยท Global instructions

Your brand voice, in every request.

Global instructions are added in front of every prompt automatically. You define them per scope, for example metadata or RTE editing, and for selected pages or folders.

Hands-on

Try it

  1. 1 Look at the examples

Open Content > AI Suite, switch to Global Instructions. Two examples exist: a tone of voice for all content and a rule set for metadata. Open them to see context, scope and options.

  2. 2 Create your own instruction

Click Create global instructions. Enter a name and an instruction such as Always end with a short call to action. Never use exclamation marks. Set the context to Page/List/AI Suite Web Module and the scope to RTE Content Editing.

  3. 3 Choose pages and options

Under Selected Pages pick About Us. Keep Use for subtree on and decide with Extend previous instructions whether your text adds to the instructions of parent pages or replaces them. Save.

  4. 4 See it in action

Edit a text on About Us and open the AI Plugin. A button above the prompt field shows that a global instruction applies. Hover it to read the text that is sent along.

Good to know

For metadata you can go one step further: with Use Global Instruction (instead of predefined server prompt) your instruction replaces the built-in server prompt instead of being added to it.
